Gaby Borda called the Stevenson Ranch Elementary School PTO Association Meeting to order at 7:03 P.M. via Zoom.
Pledge of Allegiance – Kim
MINUTES – Nairy Simonyan
Nairy motioned to approve the minutes posted on website from the November meeting. Seconded, motion carried.
FINANCIAL REPORT – Sabra Rettman
Starting Balance $ 61,653.34
Total Inflows $ 640.50
Total Outflows $ 88.00
Ending Balance $ 62,205.84
Ratification of Bills - Moved to ratify checks and EFTs for October. It was seconded, motion carried. Presentation of Bills – Moved to pay the bills for November. It was seconded, motion carried. (Please see Treasurer’s Financial Reports)
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT – Chad Rose
• Looking forward to kids coming back on January 11.
o TK-2 waiver approved: 12 kids per session (AM/PM)
o Students will be 6’ apart with a 2 ½ block for the day
o Water fountain will be closed
o Middle sinks in bathroom will be closed
• Families can change from DLA to Hybrid based on availability.
• Student Council doing great. Will be having food drive in January.
• Will start utilizing Parent Square in January. More details will follow.
• PTO has funds with Newhall School District from field trips/supplies that were never taken/purchased. Mr. Rose will send specifics.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT – Gaby Borda
• SRE Winter Fest has been cancelled due to COVID restrictions.
o We have 500 masks that we are unable to return. (It was decided to get enough for entire student body/faculty/staff and distribute with January supplies).
• Mr. Rose will read a holiday story to kids on Wednesday, December 16.
• Discussed having a Christmas tree with “Wishes for 2020-21” posted by kids.

HOLIDAY GIFT CARDS – Gaby (for Asma who was not present)
• Gift cards will come in next week. Event was not too successful. o 2019: sold 682 cards
o 2020: sold 166 cards
NEW BUSINESS:
• Restaurant Nights
o Liane will coordinate with Tutti Fruity
o Someone from Ding Tea will reach out to Nairy
o Rather than having a chair, we will split up the responsibility amongst PTO Meeting adjourned by Gaby at 7:56 P.M.
