• Book Fair

    OUR LITERATI BOOK FAIR IS COMING January 29 - February 2! Literati Book Fairs are designed to get kids excited about reading. From a fantastic selection of expert-curated books to beautiful, artistic displays, this fair will inspire all of our students to become readers fur-ever!

  • Science Fair


    This parent committee organizes a school wide event where all students are encouraged to participate in research, demonstration, or experimentation projects. Some examples include: Researching how an electric motor works, demonstrating how salt effect buoyancy, and experimentation with how a plant reacts to being watered by different types of liquids.

  • Variety Show

    This event is open to all our students. Students will get the chance to perform their creative talents such as singing, dance, magic, tell jokes, play instruments, and more. Students can participate in a solo or group act. Information for sign-ups will be available several months before the show. Tickets sold for audience members cover the costs of the event. Anyone and everyone is welcome to purchase a ticket to see the show.

  • Wizard of Oz

    We are so excited to let you know that the second grade class is invited annually to participate in the musical play “The Wizard of Oz”. This play is a lot of fun and is a Stevenson Ranch Elementary tradition.

    Our play was specifically designed for school use, every student who wants to participate will be cast in the show. Everyone will have the chance to shine!

  • International Night

    This is our school’s first opportunity to have families and friends highlight Stevenson Ranch Elementary’s diverse cultural backgrounds. The event will take place in the MPR, where families will host a display booth with artifacts, artwork, clothing, food samples and live performances.

  • Wrangler Festival

    This is our annual school carnival and one of our most popular events. All families are encourage to come and have a good time with games, inflatable activities, food, photo booths, and music. Ticket costs are to cover the event.

  • Math Olympiad

    Math Olympiad program at SRE is an opportunity for 4th to 6th-grade students to participate in challenging math contests with students from 50 US states and 30 different countries. This contest is administered by MOEMS ( Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School ) with the goal to reinforce analytical and critical thinking in school-age kids. We have successfully conducted this program at Stevenson Ranch with 50+ students every year over the last several years.

  • Trunk or Treat

    Trunk or Treat is a fun, safe, interactive Halloween event!
    People gather in the SRE parking lot, go all out decorating the trunks of their car, and kids are able to trick or treat by going from trunk to trunk! Like trick or treating in your own neighborhood, but the houses are so much closer!

  • Runner's Club

    Held one day per week between Labor Day and Spring Break, students come out to the track and run laps during recess. The purpose is to instill a health exercise habit and for students to have fun. Please be on the lookout for which day your student will participate so that they may choose proper footwear that day.

  • Room Reps (AKA Room Parent)

    A parent volunteer who coordinates with the teacher at the classroom level. Typically this position will create and maintain a class roster, help communicate school events with classroom parents, and work with the teacher on special classroom events.

  • Art Appreciation

    Parent volunteers help coordinate art lessons in classrooms. Our NSD Art Teacher trains our volunteers and no artistic ability is needed.

  • Family Dance

    This event is a time for families to come and have fun at a dance in our MPR. A DJ, photo-fun corner, and treats are included. Members of a student’s family are invited (parents, siblings). No particular dress code is required although some students enjoy expressing their style with fun dresses, cool outfits and hair accessories.

  • Teacher Appreciation

    Volunteers coordinate teacher appreciation activities during the official week in the spring. Usually includes organizing snacks, lunch, and small items of appreciation.

  • Movie Night

    PTO rents a big screen and shows a movie on our school track. The movie will be a different selection each year and appropriate for kids of all ages. Blankets and low sitting chairs should be brought. Food vendors such as food truck, pizza, popcorn and cotton candy may be available for purchase or you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. (alcohol is not allowed on school campus)

  • Expressions

    Expressions is a school wide art competition. The categories are Visual Arts, Musical Composition, Film Production, Dance Choreography, Photography, and Literature.

  • Astronomy Night

    Join us for an evening of stargazing with the Local Group Astronomy Club of SCV. Bring a blanket and picnic under the stars. Refreshments will be provided.

    Come share the most important meal of the day with your child

    Special guests could also include grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other special family members! Please limit 2 adults per family!
