SRE PTO Executive Board Nominations & Elections for 2023-2024

The Stevenson Ranch Elementary PTO Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2023-2024 school year PTO Executive Board. Elections will be held at the PTO meeting on March 22, 2023. We welcome all nominations and will strive to create a diverse and balanced roster of applicants that accurately represents our school’s demographics. Our goal is to see that every parent has a voice on our PTO and is given the chance to become actively involved in enriching the educational opportunities at our school.  

Who can be nominated?  You may nominate yourself or anyone for any board position who you feel would perform well in that role, has the required qualifications and would work well with the SRE staff and our community. 

Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 3, 2023. 

What is the role of the Nominating Committee?  The Nominating Committee will contact all nominees by the information provided on this form to determine if they give their consent to be considered for a board position. The Nominating Committee will then meet to discuss all the candidates and required qualifications for each position.  The slate of officers will be presented at the election meeting for a vote to approve the new officers for the next school year.  Additionally, nominations will be taken at the election meeting for those candidates who wish to run from the floor.    

Who can vote in the election? All PTO members are eligible to vote at the elections meeting.
