Gaby Borda called the Stevenson Ranch Elementary School PTO Association Meeting to order at 7:04 P.M. via Zoom.
Pledge of Allegiance
SECRETARY’S REPORT – Nairy Simonyan
• Nairy motioned to approve the minutes posted on website from the March meeting. Seconded, motion carried.
FINANCIAL REPORT – Sabra Rettman
Starting Balance $ 60,476.04
Total Inflows $ .52
Total Outflows $ 178.49
Ending Balance $ 60,298.07
Ratification of Bills - Moved to ratify checks and EFTs for February. It was seconded, motion carried. Presentation of Bills - Moved to pay the bills for March. It was seconded, motion carried. (Please see Treasurer’s Financial Reports)
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT – Chad Rose
• Great having kids back.
• Planning for next year.
• Summer School plans, 8:00 -11:00 am, Mon-Fri, 4 weeks
PRESIDENT’S REPORT – Gaby Borda
• Teacher Appreciation Week – May 3-7
o Distance Learners, SRE Teachers, Staff = Total 75
o During Week: Mon- Wear Color Based on grade
Tues- Chalk the Walk
Wed – Gifts
Thurs – Video
Fri – Create something
o In-Person/DLA will be invited to participate and given pre-packaged bags
Mon – Coffee/snacks
Tues – Stock the Fridge
Wed – Lunch
Thurs – Snacks
Fri – Lunch truck

o Will have big sign outside school expressing our appreciation. Will also have yard signs for teachers.
• Innovation – Deadline will be extended due to low participation. Being run by high school students in place of Science Fair.
• Elections –

Vice President – Rushani Thomas
Treasurer – Shilpa Muthyala
Secretary – Nairy Simonyan
Auditor – vacant
Financial Secretary – vacant
PTO is making their best efforts to follow by-laws for the upcoming elections given the current COVID pandemic.
• Amber Dolle made a request to pay for a portion of the student planner in exchange for a full page of business advertisement on the back of the planner.
- The planner price is currently set for $1,311.34.
- With the change of her full page ad on the back, the price will be $1,579.11. Motion made to grant Amber a full page of advertisement on the back of the planner in exchange for her paying $789.55 towards the planner. It was seconded, motion carried.
