What is Boxes of Love?
Many senior citizen in the Santa Clarita Valley won’t receive a valentine on February 14th. SRE families brighten their day by donating a box of love.
When does Boxes of Love take place?
February 7 - 11 to make sure it is in time for Valentines Day.
What is in the box?
See flyer for full list but a note, drawing or photo. Small gift card, candy, puzzles or books.
What kind of box should I use?
Any empty shoe box would be great or a small plastic container with a lid.
Who does the box go to?
The SCV Senior Center.

How does the message go out to parents to prepare the boxes?
The PTO asks the principal to include the flyer in their communications 1 and 2 weeks before Valentines Day. The boxes are dropped off at the office and then a volunteer delivers them to the SCV Senior Center.
